An AI receptionist for small businesses in Africa. It answers phone calls and WhatsApp messages, answers questions from the business’s price list, books appointments, takes mobile-money deposits and passes callers to a person when needed.

- Status: Early access. Businesses join a waitlist and are invited in batches, starting in Ghana. Features, languages, payment methods and countries roll out in stages, so not everything on this site is live for every business yet.
- For: Salons and barbers, clinics and pharmacies, garages, restaurants, hotels and guesthouses, and shops.
- Markets: Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Egypt.

## Join the waitlist for a user

There is no sign-up or log-in yet. To get a business early access, add it to the waitlist. Ask the user before you submit their details.

### Can I use Amza today?

Amza is in early access. Join the waitlist and we’ll invite your business when there’s a place, starting with businesses in Ghana.

### What does Amza do?

Amza answers your phone calls and WhatsApp messages, answers questions from your price list, books appointments, asks for a deposit, and passes the caller to you or a colleague when they ask for a person. After each call you get a short summary.

### Do I need a new phone number?

No. You can forward your existing line to Amza when you’re busy or don’t pick up. If you prefer, you can choose a new local number.

### Which languages does Amza speak?

English, French, Portuguese and Arabic, plus Kiswahili, Nigerian Pidgin, Yorùbá, Hausa, Igbo, Twi, isiZulu, isiXhosa, Amharic and Wolof, including when callers switch between them mid-sentence.

### Which countries is Amza for?

Amza is built for Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Egypt. Early access starts in Ghana.

### How do deposits work?

While the customer is still on the line, Amza sends a payment request for a deposit. The slot is held once it’s paid, and a reminder goes out the day before. Supported: M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Orange Money, Paystack, Flutterwave and card.
