Privacy notice
This notice covers the Amza website and the early-access waitlist. It explains what we collect, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to hello@amza.io.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address, business name, business type and country.
- Your phone number and whether it’s on WhatsApp, if you choose to give them.
- Whether you joined through this website, an AI assistant acting for you, or our API, and the date you joined.
When you use the website
- Pages you view, buttons you click, the sample call and calculator settings you choose, and how fast pages load.
- Recordings of how pages are used (session replay). Text you type into forms is masked and isn’t recorded.
- Your browser, device type and approximate location (country or city). We don’t store your full IP address.
We don’t sell your data and we don’t use it for advertising.
Why we use it
- Waitlist details: to contact you about early access to Amza, by email, phone or WhatsApp. You give us these details when you join, and you can ask us to remove them at any time.
- Website usage: to understand which parts of the site are useful, fix problems and improve it. We do this because it’s in our legitimate interest to run a working website.
Who processes it for us
- Our customer-relationship (CRM) provider stores waitlist details in the European Union.
- Our analytics provider stores website usage data in the European Union.
- Our website hosting provider runs the website. Requests, including the waitlist form, may be processed in the United States.
Each provider processes the data only to provide its service to us. To find out which providers we use, email hello@amza.io.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist details: until you start using Amza, ask us to delete them, or we close the waitlist, whichever comes first.
- Session recordings: 30 days.
- Other website usage data: up to 2 years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email hello@amza.io and we’ll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country, for example the Data Protection Commission in Ghana, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.
Cookies and similar storage
We use one first-party cookie and your browser’s local storage for analytics, so we can tell visits apart. We don’t use advertising cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If the change matters for people on the waitlist, we’ll email them.
